FSSC 22000 Certification

The FSSC 22000 Certification for food industry professionals, quality production managers and food handlers was held on 9 and 10 July 2019. The course was organized by the Biocluster NL and taught by the QFB Gabriela Puente in the facilities of the Las Torres Campus of tecMilenio University

The objectives of the course were:
-Understanding the purpose of the FSSC 22000 scheme.
-Understanding the requirements of ISO 22000 and ISO/TS 22002-1.

Topics seen in the course included:

  • Background of the norm.
  • Explanation of ISO 22000.
  • Standard requirements.
  • Food safety management systems.
  • Management.
  • Resource management.
  • Planning and realization of safe products.
  • Validation, verification and improvement of the food safety management system.

At the end of the course a dc3 STPS certificate was granted
